Being No Part of This World

The Bhagavad Gita, the Hebrew, and Greek Scriptures disclose the reality that this world is ruled by the lower entities that have deceived humanity from the truth. In addition, the scriptures unveil a reality: an individual to have a personal relationship with the Divine Spirit must be separate of this world – including religion. Jesus clearly taught that his followers are to be no part of this world.

But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. -John 17:13-19

Moses taught that the Israelites must be separate of the Canaanites lifestyle. This is the reason Moses told the Israelites not to eat certain types of foods such as pork. Moses told the Israelites to avoid shaving their beards and avoid certain foods because the Canaanites ate pork and trimmed their beards. The behaviors Moses taught the Israelites to avoid the Canaanites were actively engulfed. The Divine Spirit instructed the Israelites to be separate of the world – the Canaanite world. The Israelites failed, and alternatively merged and intermarried with the Canaanites and the two became one; consequently – the two came out of Babylon as Jews.

Today, the complete entire world is engulfed in the Canaanite ideology and conduct: Egotism, arrogance, hate, selfishness, greed, dishonest gain, and religion that is idolatry. The hearts and minds of humanity are sightless, imperceptive, from the truth because of breaking the commandments. Consequently, emotional repression, confusion, uncertainty, authoritarianism, oppression are a few results of Idolatry. Emotions, because of the negativity in this world, can become stuffed that store in the muscles of the body that leads to depression and affliction. The majority lives their life disregarding the Divine Spirit; thus, a relationship is feeble that results in bad karma. During a disagreeable incident, a person may blame the Divine Spirit. Enjoying the pleasures of this world – a person will be engulfed within the negative, demented mentality, of the world.

The scriptures teach that a new earth well be prepared for the children of light that will be ruled by Jesus and his Sacred Spirits. Presently, this earth is ruled by the wicked lower entities. Additionally, the reality is that this earth, and world, is destined for the kingdom of the darkness. A person that comprehends this realization of this actuality, and understands what the world intents on accomplishing – realizing what it means to be separate, unconnected, detached from this world, is essential.

This world is brimming with conflict, unrest, materialism, impatience, and self-centeredness – humanity continually complaining and blaming others – pride, arrogance – ego-driven attitudes that dominate. Cultivating positive qualities, the opposite of the world is a beginning to the reality of living separately from this world.

There are people that desire a positive world; therefore, a person gets involved in some sort of activism and attempts to make a change for the better. The intention is motivated by a positive desire. The contradiction is the activity relates to the world that is under the power of the lower entities. That energy should be focused on helping an individual, which is esteemed in the eyes of the Divine Spirit. The Divine Spirit would bless this energy and action; this activity is the action of love. The slightest kind of activism, politics, or any organization in this world is associated with an attachment to this world, religion included. Jesus refused to become a King for the Jews. Jesus did not get involved in the politics during his era.

An attachment to this world and earth is common and understandable; humans inhabit the earth and the earth is truly beautiful. Although, few people understand the context of truth concerning the ruler of this world, which has been the reality from the very beginning – non-attachment is critical. Taking time to study scripture and decipher the truth, a person will comprehend that this world is under the influence of the wicked lower entities. Separateness from this world is vital to maintain a personal relationship with the Divine Spirit and the Sacred Spirits.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. – I John 2:15-17

Living separate from this world, in respects to politics, religion, holidays, ego related attitudes, and negative behaviors – a person will be “no part of this world”.
